Applications | Mainly used as a mucolytic agent, it has a strong phlegm-dissolving effect. The sulfhydryl group contained in its molecules can break the disulphide bond in the glycoprotein polypeptide chain of sputum, thus reducing the viscosity of sputum, and making sputum liquefied and easy to cough up. It can also break the DNA fiber in purulent sputum, so it can not only dissolve white phlegm, but also dissolve purulent sputum. For patients who are ineffective with general expectorant drugs, the use of this product can still be effective. |
