Vitamin E (VE) is the general name of Tocopherol, which is a golden or light yellow oily substance with a mild special smell. Usually, vitamin E is prone to oxidation and appears dark red when exposed to air under light. It can be mixed with acetone, chloroform, ether, or vegetable oil and is almost insoluble in water. Vitamin E is one of the earliest discovered vitamins, first discovered by Evans and Bishop at the University of California. Then in 1924, Sure of the University of Arkansas named the substance vitamin E. It is an essential fat soluble vitamin for the human body, and as an excellent antioxidant and nutrient, it is widely used in clinical, pharmaceutical, food, feed, health products, cosmetics and other industries. | ||
