Description
Nicotinic acid, also known as niacin or vitamin B3, is a white crystal or crystalline powder, odorless or has a slight odor, slight sour taste. Melting point is 234-237ºC. Easily soluble in hot water, hot ethanol, alkaline water, propylene glycol, and chloroform.
It is an essential Vitamin of the B complex group better known as Vitamin B3 and has various applications. Niacin Feed grade is used in the Pet Food Industry.
